Kaplan Virtual Career Fair is a targeted hiring platform that showcases potential companies’ career opportunities in relevant related positions as follows:

  • Business Management (Human Resource, Marketing)
  • InfoComm Technology
  • Banking and Finance
  • Hospitality
  • Manufacturing
  • Logistics

 

What can you do in this Virtual Career Fair?

The Virtual Career Fair allows jobseekers to access and apply for aforementioned related positions. In addition, there are various functions available that can assist you to stand out among other applicants as follows:

  • Uploading of video resume
  • Live chat function or leaving a message with participating companies to engage in a chat
  • Companies may also choose to conduct an interview via the video interview function embedded in this Virtual Career Fair platform
    • Pre-requisite: Jobseeker must login using the account registered in this Virtual Career Fair to start chatting with the potential employer

 

How long is the duration for this Virtual Career Fair?

The Virtual Career Fair is from 1 March 2018 – 31 March 2018.

 

Where can I register for a jobseeker account?

Login to https://kaplan.findsgjobs.com/ to register for a jobseeker account.

  • Click ‘Career Opportunities’ under the ‘For Individual’ tab

 

Who can apply for the jobs at this Virtual Career Fair?

The career fair is open to students in Kaplan

 

How do I know if the employers are available for chat?

Login to https://kaplan.findsgjobs.com/ and go to the company booth page. There will be an icon indicating whether the employer is either online or offline.

  • If the green icon is displayed, the employer is currently online
  • If the red icon is displayed, the employer is currently offline
  • Note: Jobseeker must first ‘Login’ using the registered account for the Virtual Career Fair to start chatting with potential employer(s) of interest

 

Can I login to the mobile phone to chat with employer?

For better user experience, please login using a laptop or desktop to chat with employers of interest. 

 

Can I chat with more than one employers concurrently?

Yes, you are able to chat with multiple employers concurrently.

 

If the employer of interest is currently offline, what should I do?

If the employer is offline, you can leave a message. Simply fill up the form and an email notification will be sent to the employer.

 

How do I access the video interview?

The video interview function can only be accessible if the employer initiates a video interview with you. If the employer initiates a video interview, you will be alerted via an email notification; simply login to your account, go to the ‘Interview Scheduler’ tab, view the interview to accept or reject the interview. On the scheduled date and time of the video interview, go to ‘Interview Scheduler’ tab, attend the interview, click on register and accept the call from employer to start the video interview session. You are required to standby at the portal as the employer will call for the video interview session. 

 

Can I use mobile phone to attend the interview?

For better user experience, please login using a laptop or desktop to chat with employers of interest.  

How will I know my interview status and if I’m being shortlisted?

You will be receiving a schedule interview email invite from the employer. Follow the steps mentioned in the email to accept / reject the interview.

 

I have not heard from any company. What should I do?

After submitting your job application, do allow 2-4 weeks for companies to contact you. Failing which, you may want to look for other jobs via other channels.
